In Old Irish, Imbas means "inspiration." Inspiration, Innovation, Creativity and Imagination are the cornerstones and  driving forces to Imbas Sound. After successful CD sales in 22+ countries worldwide with Indie Pop band Popfilter, and over 4 decades of live East Coast guitarist experience in almost every genre of professional performing band, Joey Massei decided to build Imbas Sound Studio in 2015. A fully equipped Pro Tools studio, Imbas Sound has been built to allow a lifetime of songwriting experience to be dedicated to composing and producing music for today's TV, Film and Commercial market. Not restricted to any one genre, Imbas Sound creates Electronic Pop, Rock, EDM, Trance, House, Chill, Down Tempo, and Soundtrack tracks. Imbas Sound Studio is fully aware of the Service aspect of this business, and can modify any track to a customer’s requirements, or provide stems to any track.
